Want to fly? Let go of what’s weighing you down.

A hard truth about leadership (and your suitcase).

2025 so far…

I’ve spent as many nights in hotel beds than my own this year.
More time working in airports than I care to admit.

And while I wouldn’t trade the opportunities and impact this season is bringing, it’s teaching me a lot—about simplicity, packing light, and being intentional about what I carry.

At first, I packed everything. All the “just in case” outfits, extra shoes, snacks I never touched.

And yet, time after time, I’d end up wearing the same few things that actually worked—the comfortable, functional pieces I needed.

I started refining.
Noticing what I never used.
Letting go of what was unnecessary.

And suddenly, travel felt easier.

Lighter bags. More room to move. Less friction.

And as I was packing last week, I had a realization.

This isn’t just about travel.
This is about life.

Buddha said:
"If you want to fly, let go of everything weighing you down."

We think we need more.
More success. More achievement. More proving ourselves.

But the real shift? It’s about releasing.

We want to play big, step into our highest self, do the meaningful work we’re called to…
But we’re carrying so much that’s weighing us down.

Old beliefs that no longer serve us.
Resentments and frustrations that drain us.
Responsibility for things that aren’t ours to carry.

Which brings me to a conversation I had with a client last week.

They were stuck in a pattern of over-responsibility.
They had spent years being the person who took care of everything and everyone.

At one point, that was necessary—it was how they survived, how they built their career, kept the peace in the family and, how they led.

But now? It was suffocating them.

They wanted to step into their next level of leadership.
But they kept doing everything themselves—because they always had.

Until they made a decision.

They put it down.

It was no longer theirs to carry.

And once they released it?
They could breathe again.

So now I’ll ask you.

What are you carrying that isn’t even yours to carry?
What can you let go of—so you can finally move forward?

This is exactly why I’m opening The Well-Resourced Leader—a coaching cohort for 25 high-achievers who are ready to stop carrying everything alone and start leading with more freedom.

This isn’t a course. It’s not a training. It’s a way of being.

It’s a transformational experience.

What you get:

  • Early access to my book Chasing Enough before it’s published.

  • Seven weeks of live coaching with me.

  • A small, powerful circle of high-level leaders breaking the burnout cycle together.

You’re a fit if you:

  • Work feels draining and you can’t see a way out.

  • Lead a team, mission, or business but feel more drained than energized.

  • Know something has to change—before burnout takes over again.

We start April 1. Only 25 spots available.

You don’t have to do this alone.
It’s time to put some things down—so you can finally step into what’s next.
